1983-84, Nostradamus, Inc. (became Instant Replay)--Co-founded as President, brought to profitability in less than six months.
1985-94, FoxPro Pro--Self-employed developer of custom databases. Wrote numerous commercial small business and public safety databases. Clients included Alta Ski Lifts, Town of Alta, Wasatch Powderbird Guides, Interwest Orthopedics and many others.
1989-92, Vertical Technologies (became Zebra Technologies)-Developed first version of Track-One bar code database system for mass market.
1987-95, Alta Ski Patrol --Professional ski patrolman. Responsibilities included explosives assembly, avalanche control, search dog training and emergency medical response. Learned to make life and death decisions quickly with available information, adjust as new information became available and function efficiently in pressure situations. 1994-present, LiveWire Project, Ltd. (became IXR, Inc.)--Founder/Chairman/CEO.
Conceived physio-interactive video in 1987. Founded LiveWire Project, Ltd., a Utah R&D Limited Partnership in 1994. Developed first version of physio-interactive video on 3DO platform. Filed for provisional patent in 1995. Converted from limited partnership to Utah C corporation in 1996. Majority shareholder. Developed first version of variable rate MPEG2 video for Windows platform.
1998-present, Alta Community Enrichment -Local arts council, recruited to take over as President from founder as non-profit community organization grows to next level. Goals include establishing local Internet access at a reasonable cost.
